David: David was found as a stray and after not hearing from anyone looking for him, he became a member of the Pet Rescue By Judy family. He went into foster care with a staff member who gave him the opportunity to experience as much as possible in his time with us. He met four large foster dog siblings, cats, little humans, and was even introduced to RV camping life. David did well with his foster K9 sisters but did show resource guarding behaviors. Specifically, he was very intent in keeping his crate and his toys safe from invaders which may have indicated that he had never been able to have these things with safety before. With these behaviors it is better that he goes to a home with no other dogs so he can enjoy his freedom without stress until he has lots of time to learn how to leave these behaviors in the past. David however enjoyed the company of cats and little humans very much. Maybe he knew they were not interested in dog things so he felt he could keep them to himself without trouble. David did extremely well going out and meeting new people. He tends to greet people with kisses and love to show he is a good boy. He is an amazing pup who has the world to offer in his tiny little body. He loves taking walks, giving kisses and cuddles, relaxing in his crate, and he especially loves playing with toys. David was found running in traffic in front of a nice couple's house. They took him in and looked around for his owner. After seeing noone, they brought him to PRBJ. We posted him on Pawboost and to the county. He is a sweet dog:)
