Lady came to us from a man who said the former tenant left Lady in the home when he vacated. Unfortunately, the man was not able to take care of Lady, so he brought her to PRBJ where she would be safe and loved:)
Lady had a large mass on her rear end which we had removed and she is feeling much, much better now! She gets along with the other dogs in the foster home (ranging from 5# to 70#) but can get annoying to them at times. Especially now that she no longer has to wear her "cone" she is coming out of her shell and getting pretty rowdy! She thinks she is a big dog and is very confident with other dogs. She probably should not be with a real snior dog if that is the only pet, as she might be too much. She very much prefers the male in the household and loves to give him kisses and follows him right at his heels. She has not shown a lot of interest in toys or bones at this point.
She's so little, she can squeeze out of picket fences so she needs somebody who is diligent with her; fences with gaps or wide spaces between slats would not be good for her.
