08/2021 update: Valentine was adopted, but has recently been returned to PRBJ as the older dog in the home did not want a new buddy :(
So, this sweet girl is back with us and is looking for her furever home:) Her former family was heartbroken to have to return her and said, "Valentine is perfect! She is 100% perfect. She is housetrained and is good with other dogs."
   Valentine has beautiful markings on her coat, and she is eager to please. She joins in barking with the other dogs around her, but is also quick to respond to verbal and body cues from the staff to quiet down. She just wants to be with her people~
   As she is an 7 month old, big, goofy, energetic puppy, Valentine would be best in a home where her family is around much of the day for activity and socialization. With her large size, a fenced backyard to romp in play in would be ideal! She would benefit from obedience classes, which are a great way to bond with new companion~Familes with kids need be up for a large, goofy pup who may knock them over with her happy, wagging tail and energy. Children over 8 are recommended due to Valentine's size and energy level :)  If you like to jog this is the baby for you.



On Feb 11, we receive a phone call from a very nice man stating that his daughter was given a 3 week old puppy from a friend as they just wanted to 'get rid of the puppies.'  He asked us to take the puppy because they have no experience bottle feeding. He was also very upset that the puppy was taken away from her mom at such a young age:(
   We decided to name this beautiful, baby Valentine. Once you meet her, she will melt your heart.
