Dog for the day 11/1/20

I took Peanut out today for the Dog 4 a Day. He was awesome. When he saw other dogs from far away, he just looked at them, but didn’t run up to them or have any other reactions. We went and sat by the water at the Veteran's Memorial Park and a couple different parks in the area. We also went to an outdoor breakfast place where he was very settled. He pushed up against my leg almost the whole time. He also loves to get really close to you on the walks. He was awesome in the car, too. Lost his balance every once in a while, but either day or laid down most of the time. He’s going to make his adopting family very happy.

Peanut lost his home because his family was unable to care for him any longer.

At first meeting, Peanut was friendly and the staff stated that he is the sweetest dog ever:) 
He is new with us, so we really don't know much except that he is either nervous in his crate and not used to our schedule so that he had an accident in his crate.    Once we determine if he is housetrained or not we will update his webpage accordingly.
