UPDATE:  12/16/2018:  Sylvia was adopted at about three months old. Her owner is moving and her son is going into the military and therefore Sylvia was returned to our center. She is understandably so scared. Sylvia has started to rub on our legs and warm up to us, but she will hiss at you if she feels uncomfortable or startled. If you look at her photos below and see what a vibrant friendly cat she was in her previous home you will see that with some time and patience she will blossom again. She is housetrained and good with other cats but is frightened of dogs. At the age she is now, please give her a comfortable spot and she will be yours when she gets comfortable. Time and patience that is all that is needed.
