Felicity and Filbert are two of our adorable kittens in need of a wonderful home.  To say they are cute would be such an understatement! Honestly, you should meet them in person to get a sense of what tender little sweeties they are. Of course, they have lots of kitten energy, so they need a family willing to play with them so they can jump and pounce and do all the great things that kittens do!

It seems really sweet when your kitty weaves in and out of your feet, rubbing its little face and tail against your legs. While its nice to think the cat is doing it because he loves you; in reality, the cat is doing it because he OWNS you.

Cats have scent-producing glands on the tail, head, lips, chin and paws. But rubbing against your legs, the cat is leaving its unique scent on you, thus declaring his ownership of the territory to other cats.  The same thing happens when they rub against the doorway, table, chair, bed, dog, refrigerator, keys, shoes, papers, computer etc. You may think those things belong to you, you silly person! But they belong to your cat. The sooner you realize this, the sooner you will live happily with your scent-marking cat.
