Description:
Hutch is the most beautiful boy. He was a stray roaming in Downtown Sanford and had been spotted by locals. It took us a lot of patience to finally catch him, and we were all very relieved when we did. For the fist couple of days, Hutch was so afraid he barley moved. It was heartbreaking to watch his scared little face. Then we had an idea to put him in a room with a couple of mommy dogs to help his confidence, and it helped so much! Though he is much more outgoing now, he does like the companion of another dog. We feel having another companion dog in the home would be great to allow him to model after another canine and allow him to continue to come out of his shell more and more.
A fenced in back yard is required as he is so skiddish we want to avoid any escape incidents our of an open door, etc.

Foster Update 7/27/19
Sweet Hutch has been with us for a week and has shown great improvement in his confidence and training! He still needs lots of work and patience with his potty and leash training but continues to get better every single day. Hutch is an incredibly affectionate dog who wants to be with you at all times and does have a very strong attachment to me, which we are working to train him out of so that he can be more independent and confident! Overall, Hutch has come so far in just a week, going from being so scared he would not move to wagging his tail and attempting to play with our cats! Please fill out an application to set up an appointment to meet this little lover :)
