Description:
Her name is Orange, but she is black Cocker Spaniel.  So, why the name Orange?  Because she was found wandering the streets by the Citrus bowl with her daughter, who's name is Citrus.  Because she is so young and has already had puppies, we suspect she is from a backyard breeder or puppy mill.

She is very sweet, but scared (as you can image).  Wandering the streets around the Citrus Bowl would be scary for anyone.  This little angel deserves a forever home where she can be loved and nurtured.

5/20 Update:
I was just speaking with Judy and she was raving about Orange.  She says that this little thing is absolutely precious, very loving and affectionate.  Even the vets go on and on about her.  She has obviously bounced back from the trauma of being on the streets and is now ready to shower a new family with love!!!

Cockers will do okay in an apartment if they are adequately exercised, and are fairly active indoors. A small yard is sufficient. The American Cocker Spaniel is smaller than the English Cocker Spaniel and has a different conformation. The name "Cocker" comes from the woodcock, a game bird these spaniels flushed particularly well. Today, the Cocker Spaniel serves primarily as a companion and glamorous show dog. It can also be used for hunting, tracking, retrieving, watchdogging and agility. They have a life expectancy of 12-15 years.
