Description:
Sweet Aspen is a calm, cool, and collected mama. She came to us from a high kill shelter very pregnant. Judy took her in and brought her to her house where she helped her deliver her babies after days of labor. Now that she is done being a mommy, she is ready to start a life of her own!
Aspen is currently heartworm positive, but please do not let that shy you away from this wonderful dog!    Pet Rescue By Judy practices the slow kill method for treating heartworm, and we have had great success with it. The slow kill method means we give the infected dog a medication for 30 days (if you adopt within her first 30 days we will provide you with the medication) and then after that all she needs is her monthly topical of Advantage Multi! 

  Aspen is what we like to call a "velcro dog". All she wants is to be with her person and snuggle for as long and as often as we can. She loves attention! If you would like to meet her please fill out an application for her, or take her out for "Dog For the Day" and spend some time with her!
