Dylan will nip/bite as he was not given socialization and training in his former homes:(
He needs a calm home with a single person/couple who is expereinced with dominant behaviors and willing to work with his guarding/biting behaviors.
A fenced yard is required to keep neighbors and kids from reaching to pet his cute face as Dylan will bite.


6/12/2019 staff update: Dylan was adopted from PRBJ back in March and was sadly returned to us. The family that adopted him led a busy life with a lot going on and multiple people living in the household. Once Dylan settled, in he began guarding his belongings (his bed, whomever he was laying on, a toy). The family tried their best to help him get over this, but their busy household was just too much for him. They suggested he would be great in a one person household or with a couple that has a more relaxed household.  With his behaviors, Dylan needs an adult only home.

Dylan likes other dogs and loves to go on walks. He is crate trained, but he also does great in a house left alone to run free. His family said has a lot of energy to burn off, so a fenced yard for him to safely romp, run, and play is needed. As he is a little guy, he's not the best jogging partner..haha:)


3/8/2019 staff update:  Dylan was surrendered to us because unfortunately his owner was not able to care for him any longer. He is housetrained, likes all dogs and lived with cats. He is playful, enjoys walks, is crate trained and likes to dig.  He also knows Spanish!  Dylan is a very happy, loving and fun dog to have around.
