Dog for a Day update(March 2019):
Gabriella is such a sweet and energetic girl! She loves playing with other dogs and would love to be in a home with another dog and a yard. She didn’t like the car at first, but once we let her take shotgun she was very relaxed; she just likes to sit and see everything that is going on. She pulls on the leash, mainly because she is a typical hound and likes sniffing everything, other than that she is really good with going out. The main thing to know about her is that she needs someone who can provide ALOT of activity (yard she can run, taking her to a dog park, etc.), but some play time was all it took to make this sweetheart happy! She will need to be supervised in the backyard because she likes to dig and can jump a 4ft. fence.
-----
Gabriella was brought to us from a county shelter. where they had taken her in as a stray. After multiple attempts to contact her owner, they informed the shelter they did not want this sweetheart.
Gabriella is a typical hound with her nose to the ground so she needs to be walked for daily exercise as likes to dig deep holes in the backyard and has gotten out of her home a few times. She is very active and would need an active family to help with her energy level. She would make an excellent running partner!
She loves nylabones and toys and she gets along well with other dogs. This sweet girl adores people and loves attention more than anything, often doing little dances to get some pats!
She is ready for a forever home and would love to meet you.
