Tulip was found as a stray. She was extremely emaciated, and it was clear she had been running the streets for quite a while. One of our foster parents took her home and has been nursing her back to health. For the first few weeks she was being fed every two hours, then every three, then four, and now she is down to twice a day. 

Tulip is a sweet little dog. She loves to snuggle into any nook or cranny she can get herself into. If she was given the opportunity to play with another small dog she would play from sun up to sun down!  For as small as she is she plays rough.  If there is another dog in the house it would have to be a very patient dog.  We do not suggest that she be with larger dogs based on how rough she plays.  Tulip knows her name and if she is reprimanded she listens right away!
