Description:

Elijah and his companions Sonny and Cher were rescued from horrendous conditions (shown below) He is so happy to finally have a nice clean bed, fresh food and water, and lots of love. He is looking for his furever home that will treat him how he was supposed to be treated his whole life: Spoiled! He doesn't seem to mind other dogs. He is still a little scared right now, but once he gets settled,he will make an amazing companion.

FOSTER UPDATE: Elijah is such a little love! It took him a few days to get settled, and he is still a little timid, but I think it is part of his personality. He is more comfortable staying in his crate even with the door open, but if I put him on a blanket on the couch, he'll hang out there. I don't think he's used to being in such a big open space yet. He has random little bursts of energy where he'll get super playful and almost want you to chase him :) It is so cute! We are working on potty training. He does go with no problem when he is outside. We are also working on walking on a leash. He seems to know how, he just does not like being pulled at all. He is very quiet (although he gets very excited when he sees me in the morning and when I get home) and content to lay in his crate or a pet bed :) he get along fine with my chihuahua/corgi mix and would probably be better off with smaller dogs as he seems to get startled pretty easily. He is the cutest little thing and will make someone a great companion :)
