Description:

This little guy was found wandering the streets. He's such a tiny little thing to be out on his own. He definitely has a bad haircut going on. It looked like the previous owners wanted to give him a trim, but he ended up looking like Einstein! Not to worry, his hair will grow back. He is laid back, and good with dogs, big and small, as well as people. And, he is ready for a new home!

Although we think that Blarney is only 8 years old or younger, he is so laid back that we've qualified him for our Seniors for Seniors program. If adopted by a senior citizen, his adoption fee will be $100.

Foster update:
Blarney is doing fine. He gets along with all my dogs, even the pappillon and the 110 pound bull mastiff. Is very easy going and crate trained but will potty if not in crate if he has to go since he Does not know how to tell you he needs to go out, YET, but happily does and goes right away. Loves to take walks on a leash and gets along great with the neighbor kids that are about 12 and 14 and due to his little size, just no small kids for him.He is very laid back and does not get alarmed when my crew starts to bark, just looks around and goes back to sleep. He slept thru the night with Amanda last night in his crate on her bed and the other dogs and nobody had an issue with him so I know he is a very nice guy with other dogs, since mine do not put up with any attitude. He is mostly Yorkie but could be mixed with something maybe, although I cannot figure it out. He seems longer than a typical Yorkie, so maybe has some kind of small terrier breed in him, almost miniature Airedale coloring, but very tiny. He loves fluffy beds and when I put a lambswool bed in with him today he made it into a nest. Very sweet guy and very low maintenance but hi on anyone who wants company. He seems to know a lot about houses and steak and human tables are great places for table scraps.

4/11 Foster Update:

I have had Blarney for two weeks now and he is doing great. He was quite afraid of us at first since he had been a stray and then put into the kennel situation, but now is quite happy to live in a house. He does not afraid to be lifted and actually now stands on his hind legs for me to pick up telling me he is younger than we first thought. He does not bark much, but occasionally and only to let him in when he is outside. I have a small garden on the side of my house where he has his own space.  My Bull Mastiff puppy and he got along too well, and they were playing too rough so I had to separate them as Blarney is 10 pounds and Buster is 110 pounds and Buster plays too rough, so I did not want him to hurt Blarney by accident. I offer this so you would understand his disposition is love other dogs , and that he is not aggressive towards anything, so would probably get along with cats too. I offer this information since it will give you insight into his personality.  At this point, he is my little man, so I I will take him to the vet and he will have a full exam. His eyes no longer run, so I think that he probably was suffering from Malnutrition and general bad hygiene as he was a stray and living in my house, with a garden to play in and a comfy couch to rest on , the eyes seem normal to me, no drops, and even if I had to give him drops , he trusts me know. As far as his behavior before, he did not snap at me or my teenage girls. We had to deal with him with caution again because he was a stray and very untrusting. He had that look of "leave me alone," so we proceeded with caution as he is very small and delicate. Back to his probable age. He is coming out of his shell so acting less like a senior citizen and actually is probable around 5, with bad teeth from improper care over his life. He will remain posted as a senior dog however since I want him to go to a family without children because he is very small and somewhat delicate (although he can jump up and off my rather high couch) and is a perfect dog for someone who wants company and wants to dote on him, but not f</
