Description:

FOSTER UPDATE:   Just wanted to let you know what a fabulous time we had with Tucker on our extended "Dog for a Day."

From the moment we picked up Tucker we realized his name should be "LoverBoy" because he was just so affectionate.  He truly just wanted to be with you whether that was taking a stroll or curled up watching TV.
We were fortunate enough to have Tucker with us recently for a long weekend and really got to know and LOVE his personality & behaviors.  We went for numerous walks throughout Downtown Sanford, along the Riverwalk and he was just wonderful with all the people & animals we interacted with.  Tucker did a good job walking on the leash and really didn't pull which we were quite impressed by at his young age.  We ate out at several establishments and Tucker would just lay by the table without the need for constant corrections.
Tucker went with us for several rides in the car and on the golf cart and he would just lay down on the seat.  He did not get nervous or drool/pant while in the vehicle.  One of the car rides we took was to PRBJ's Cars & Cuddles Event and Tucker loved all the other dogs & humans that came by and petted him, he gives up for belly rubs real easily.  Luckily we had stopped by Paw Park Palace first and got a bath that Tucker seemed to actually enjoy not fighting to get out.
Tucker was most amazing in our house.  He had free run and never had an accident or damaged anything even when left unattended, though Tucker prefers to be with you.  He loves to carry a toy around or just lay in his dog bed nearby.  During the five days we had Tucker we only heard him bark once.
We can't say enough good things about his personality and behavior ... truly jealous of whomever is lucky enough to give him his forever home because he will reward you with overwhelming unconditional love.

Tucker was adopted as a puppy through another rescue and when his owner couldnt care for him anymore, they would not take him back.  Tucker was too much for his senior owner.
Tucker is energetic and needs lots of exercise!!  Very loving and enjoys car rides.  Housebroken and needs some basic training; overall a Great Dog!!
