Dog for a Day:

As soon as she came out of her cage she was very happy!!  When I first picked Saddie up it was raining so I carried her out of Judy’s. She sat in the passenger side of my truck and was calm. She was a little startled by the windshield wipers but nothing major. I first went to my friend’s house and Saddie totally wanted love and kisses.  She was very friendly and played fetch with a football and chewed on it. We did have a couple of accidents in the house but she is still a puppy so that was understandable.

At my house she barged in past my Chihuahua lol and jumped right up on the couch with me. She wants lots of love and attention.  When my Chihuahua approached Saddie didn’t do anything but my Chihuahua growled and wanted her Mom back.  I went into the kitchen to give them each a treat and Saddie did growl at my dog but I think because my dog was growling too. I held Saddie between my legs and they calmed down. I gave Saddie a rubber intertwined ball that she loved gnawing on. She still has her puppy teeth and needs something to chew on. When my boyfriend came she was friendly with him and wanted attention. She jumped off the couch and laid down on the floor to nap. After a little while she jumped back on the couch and we all napped J When I did walk around with my dog I think Saddie just wanted to play.

When it was getting close to the time to take Saddie back to Judy’s we walked along the riverfront in Sanford. She walked well on the leash and did not pull. She stopped and barked at the ducks but she is not overly loud or anything. She at first was cautious with steps but when my boyfriend ran a little with her she ran right up the steps with no problems!  She loved to sit on my center console and be front and center in my truck J When I dropped her off at Judy’s she just went right back to playing with the other dogs there.

Saddie will make a great pet, and would love to run with someone no doubt, maybe not crazy far as she is still a puppy. She needs chew toys to keep her occupied and not chewing as a puppy on things (hands, other things you don’t want to get damaged- common sense).  And she is a cutie with her ears and different colored eyes J
