Gracie is a petite cat, but is full of love! She was adopted from a high kill shelter and her owners wanted to return her because their other cat and Gracie did not get along. The  shelter would not take her back because she hissed at them when getting her nails cut. Can you blame her? She finally had a home and then went back to a shelter. She was so scared. When we took her in, we gave her time to adjust and her personality blossomed. She is such a sweet and affectionate girl. 

Gracie got herself into some trouble and was eating the rubber leaves off of the cat trees at our facility. As soon as we noticed this, she was rushed to the vet immediately. After they examined her, she needed exploritory surgery to make sure that everything was alright. After her recovery, she still needs to take 2 medications daily to ensure her digestive system is functioning properly. She also has to be on a special diet.  

Despite this experience, she is otherwise healthy. She doesn't mind being held and loves to get attention. Her hair is so soft and she has the most beautiful eyes.

We recommend older children, no other pets, and a quiet home for Gracie. She is litter box trained, spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
