A NOTE FROM WINN'S PREVIOUS OWNER:
I've attacked a couple of better photos for Winnie.
Winn Dixie is a wonderful, sweet puppy that is very smart and a ball of energy. I have had to give her to Judy's Pet Rescue because I live in a very small apartment downtown Atlanta and she needs to be with a family that has other dogs or children. There should also definitely be access to a large yard.
She is obsessed with tennis balls and will play fetch as long as you keep throwing the ball. The dog park is her favorite place and she always befriends larger dogs.
I would leave her roaming free in my apartment and she never chewed anything except for one pair of socks. She is stubborn and won't always come when you call her, but I believe with training that is something can can be overcome. Peanut butter is her favorite treat and she likes to be scratched on her inner haunches.
Her favorite days to go on walks is when there is dew on the grass. She was keep her tongue out as she walks.
I know she will find a home where she is loved. She deserves the best and it truly breaks my heart that I was unable to provide that for her.
Winn was surrendered to us as the kids in the family did not have enough time to exercise and play with her. She is only 8 mos old and still very much in the energetic, puppy stage. Winn would benefit from an active family, and so a fenced yard is recommended as she loves to go out, explore and play here at the center. Winn is a sweet, Lab mix who is looking for her furever family~ We will continue to update her webpage as we get to know her better~
