We rescued Onyx from a high kill shelter. It was love at first sight! He is a real sweetheart and will give you give kisses when he meets you. He appears to be crate trained and house trained. He loves to play outside in the backyard and run around. He does well with most dogs his size or larger, but we are unsure of how he does with small dogs.

" We took Onyx out for dog 4 a day on 8/6/17. We walked around downtown Sanford and he was really good on a leash!  He was very charming and earned lots of compliments from kind strangers! He met a lot of people and still managed to stay calm, he never jumped and we never heard him bark! We also hung out with him on our pool deck for a while and he seemed to enjoy being outside and laying in the shade. He was very good riding in the car and loved to look out the window! He loves attention and is great with people, and most of all, he's just a big love bug! So come in and meet him, you won't be disappointed!"

"My friends and I love to do the rent a dog program! You get to meet so many great dogs! Today, we took Onyx out for a day on the town. He is such a sweet and gentle dog. He's great in the car, good with new people and other dogs. He also walks great on a leash. He loved walking and running around with us and did a great job sitting outside at Panera while we ate lunch! He is such a relaxed, gentle, and sweet dog. He gives the best slobbery kisses too!"
