Bertha is an amazing girl! Her ideal home would be with another dog because that is what she is used to in her foster home. She loves children and loves to play. She is about 45 pounds, but she does not know her size. She likes to believe she is a lap dog and will sit in your lap. She loves to cuddle and lay under the blankets. She is so sweet and friendly and loves everyone she meets!

Foster Update 6/24/2017: Bertha is super loving to everything including a stray kitten that we have been taking care of for 4 weeks. But she lives to run out in the back yard and try and catch squirrels and lizards. She loves to rough and tumble with our resident dog as well. For this reason, I think she would do best in a home that has a fenced in yard and a high energy companion dog. Also, she insists on curling up next to you on the chair and crawling under your bed covers with you at night. If you are OK with this then she may  be the girl for you. She is very stealthy in doing this and absolutely adorable about it as well.
