UPDATE 7/26/19:  Our beautiful Mawmah has been returned by her owner back to us. Her previous owner stated that Mawmah was urinating outside her litterbox. She was taken to the vet once a year ago, and Mawmah was fine after that.  Her owner moved and a little after that she started urinating again but she was not taken to the vet. However, we took her and our vet did verify she had some crystals, and put her on a CD Multicare cat food. We have her contained to her cage to evaluate her and she is urinating in her litterbox. Mawmah is the sweetest cat around! She is so depressed right now and would greatly benefit from being fostered, or better yet, adopted into a forever home! 

Note from Foster: "I took Mawmah home to foster for a little bit after Hurricane Irma, while the shelter was being restored.  She is an absolute delight - she is the friendliest cat I have ever met!  She stayed in a spare bedroom (only because my cats would have no part of an extra cat in their house) and was a perfectly behaved lady.  She just wants your love and attention.  She absolutely loves to be petted!!! Her unique diluted calico markings make for a pretty girl, too! If you are looking for a sweet companion, Mawmah will be perfect for you!!!"

Mawmah appears to be so young and she has had a litter of kittens already.   She is so sweet and was a great mom. Now it is her time for her to enjoy her life and be a playful cat.   She is considered a dilute torti white.
