Dog for a Day Updates!

Last weekend, I participated in the Dog 4 a Day program with Pet Rescue by Judy, and had the opportunity to hang out with this precious little guy, Duke!!! He's soooo sweet. Fetch is his thing, and he is such a good companion that he will stay by your side even without a leash.

Duke is my buddy!  My friend and I got to take Duke out for a short afternoon, and enjoyed going on a walk/run! He was very quick to get in the car, and LOVED running!  He really gets excited to hear when your feet start pacing from a walk to a jog, and he can just run as fast as he can!  Because he was so happy to hop in the car and loves exploring the outdoors, I think he would be great to take on trips fishing, jogging, athletic-oriented with his owner.  We passed several cats, dogs, and other people walking, and Duke never barked.  He's friendly, warms up very quickly, and his brindle coat is also very beautiful!


Meet Duke. He is a sweet and friendly boy. He and his friend, Daisy were rescued from their owner who could not care for them anymore. Daisy has been adopted and Duke would really like a family of his own so that he could have his second chance at life.  

Duke is always up for an adventure and loves to be the life of the party. This fella would love a home with daily exercise and training. He may even make a great running partner!

Duke walks well on a leash and likes to play outside. He would prefer to be the only dog.
