Description:

Update:   Annie is just as sweet as can be and LOVES to be picked up!  She will come up to you and beg to be picked up :)  What a love bug!!  Her fur is super, super soft!

She is anxiously awaiting her furever family, could it be yours?

----------------------------------
Annie and her littermates were found by one of our volunteers and are now ready for adoption.

Annie is just as cute as can be! She is on the fluffy side and is starting to get white tuffs on her ears. She has gorgeous fur with some slight white hairs on top of black; you can also see faint stripes in her coat.

Here is their story:

"These sweet kittens were born in a rural part of the county and were in a trailer with no air conditioning.  The lady who owned the trailer had an accident and was in the hospital and the kittens were shut in the trailer without their mother for a couple of days - it was unbelievably hot in there!!  I brought them home and they were in very poor shape-they were about 3 weeks old and had so many fleas on them that their skin appeared to be crawling!  They were so anemic from the fleas that their gums were white.  I wasn't sure they were going to make, but I am so glad they did!

It has been an absolute joy to see them blossom into gorgeous, healthy, and joyful kittens!! They are very playful and love to play with the feather teaser toy - it is their favorite!  They are quick to purr and all want to jump in your lap for snuggle time.  They deserve just the best homes!!

I encourage you to adopt two kittens together - they are so much fun to watch play together and two kittens will keep each other busy when you are away.
