The Rainbow Bridge

...Grieve not,
nor speak of me with tears,
but laugh and talk of me
as if I were beside you...
I loved you so -
'twas heaven here with you.
                                              -Isla Paschal Richardson

Haley
wanted to let you know that I had to put Haley down, due to cancer. She was the best. Over the past 12 years she became my best friend and treasured family. She will be missed. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of her life. ~ Stephanie ~

Hanlon the Saved Great Pyrenees
Hanlon came to us so weak and underweight he was barely able to walk. But thanks to the dedication of his foster mother Joni, he was restored to a normal weight, and was able to enjoy his senior years in comfort and safety, surrounded by love. He had his own special bed inside, but he loved to lie outside in the sunshine. Joni and her family will miss Hanlon very, very much.

Harper
I adopted Harper from PRBJ in February 2016 when she was only 8 weeks old. Unfortunately, only a year and a half later, Harper passed away from a brain condition called Hydrocephalus that she was born with. Up until the condition started affecting her, Harper was just a goofy little dog always full of energy and love. Although she left us too soon, I can't thank PRBJ enough for the year and a half I was able to spend with my Harper. Her brother Chance and I will never forget Harper, her goofy ears, her silly Mohawk, or all the love she was able to give us while she was here.

Hershey
On January 12, 2008 I received this e-mail from Barb, the lovely lady who volunteers her time to answer the numerous e-mails and phone messages received every day by Pet Rescue By Judy. "Hi Holly, Our 15 year old teddy bear of a dog, Hershey, went to the rainbow bridge this morning and my heart is breaking. He is the last of our "3 teens" to go. Hershey literally wandered into our lives - he was such a cool dog and made many friends as well. He loved doing zoomies around the yard with Dixie. Even at age 15, he would try to show our "young'uns" that he still could at least try to keep up with them! The 3 of them would cram on the same bed, into a crate together when it was cold and were inseparable. I am hoping they are all running around right now with each other like they always loved to do. They were so bonded with each other . I thought I would send their pictures for the rainbow bridge section. Hershey is laying in the grass, Lila is the small yellow dog and Dixie is the Dobie. It's been rough losing them. Our boys grew up with them. It's been a bad day..........."

Hershey
We adopted Hershey in September 2007, after he appeared on tv with Judy. He immediately fit right in with our family, both 2 legged and 4 legged. Sadly, we had to let him go this morning, only a month after being diagnosed with liver cancer. He was a gentle soul, funny, and a little quirky. He gave us 11 great years and we are proud to have been his forever family.
