Nova the Vizsla Puppy

Hi Diane, Good Morning. I wanted to give you an update on how Nova-Renamed to Jackson(aka Jax) :) IT really fits his personality We are just overwhelmed with Joy on our new Family Member-Jax has been doing great. Still working on the feeding schedule as he is just settling in and gets distracted easily while eating, so I am allowing him to graze right now, but plan to work on that over the next few days to 4 times a day feeding. We are giving him his Medications as well, and he seems just fine. I am calling our vet this morning to get him in for his first visit-hopefully today or tomorrow. We put a crate in our bedroom, to try and make him feel more secure at night. That will be the only time he is in there, unless I gotta run out of the house for a few minutes(for His safety). He only got up once the first night. Then last night-went right in the crate snuggled up at 10p, and slept until 7am this morning-I was shocked and just so proud of him. We have a few Doggie beds around the house for him and he loves those as well. Also he has gotten a bunch of new toys over the past 2 days-From us, friends and family.
