About 6 months ago, I again had the hard job of saying goodbye to my 13 1/2 yr old Basset Hound. She had been such a presence in our home (she was the alpha around the house) that it left a big void. Having Max helped so very much to fill that void.
But I guess it's not surprising that about a month ago, when on a trip to Petsmart, we brought home a Bassett Hound that you had for adoption, Kim (I now call her Mollie). I saw her and that was it - I was sold. Molly has joined our little family like she has always been here. She and Max are great company for one another. She is a character, likes to "smile" at the camera.

Thank you again for your dedication and for the care and kindness you give to these animals. We often laugh that you must give them some sort of "love pill" because they are all so very affectionate and wonderful!! Our home would be empty without them.
