FOSTER UPDATE 9/14/20: Hamilton has likely had a rough life before coming to PRBJ. It literally took two weeks before he let his foster mom put a collar and leash on him....so allow him to open up to YOU first. Otherwise you will get nipped, but he will forewarn you with growling (most of the time). So the adopter will need an enclosed backyard since you won't be able to leash walk him until he earns your trust. He initially showed toy aggression but we have been working on it and it's much better--he does love playing with his toys! I don't think he had any of his own and had to hoard whatever he found.
He is not good with smaller children.
Hamilton was found under a car in the hot day by an amazing civillian who was worried about him. He is a sweet boy who is shy at first, but is a luv bug once he gains your trust. His foster is working with him on toy aggression. Hamilton would be best in a home with someone home all day. A FENCED YARD IS REQUIRED:)
