Update May 2011 - Poor Sara thought she had found the family of her dreams, sadly, both parents have lost their jobs and they are now losing their home. The family is moving out of state to live with relatives and are unable to take Sara with them. Won't you open your heart and home to this wonderful girl?
Foster Update 8/10: Sara is the ideal dog that anyone would love to have. She would go to a great home that wants a dog that loves to go on walks but one that can just be content laying around the house all day. She has a very laid back attitude and loves to be around you, outside or inside. Sara doesn't jump on furniture very often and listens REALLY well. The first night I had her she immediately went to her bed and slept there all night. She does really well on the leash. She knows her basic commands; sit, down, stay, paw and she'll roll on her belly for your to scratch it!
Foster Update 8/10: Every day Sara shows more and more of her amazing personality. She is definitely a "people pleaser" and her tail is constantly on the go whenever you are interacting with her, especially when you first come home. She sleeps at my feet wherever I am and doesn't beg for food, which is very nice. Everyone that has met her since I've fostered her has fallen in love with her because she is such a sweetheart.
Sara is a great dog rescued from a kill shelter. She loves to be outside to run around. A fenced in yard is a huge plus for this unique looking girl. Sara would make anyone the perfect companion with her loving, sweet and playful personality! Although she gets along with other dogs she does better with small ones.
