Per information from the previous owner, Charger and Woody are very friendly. The two boys get along great and love, love, love to play together. They are housetrained and would absolutely love to go to their new home together, but that is not necessary.

No homes with cats or small dogs, please. The boys want to be the center of all attention.

Come and meet these friendly fellows at our shelter.  They would love to go on a dog for a day outing, too!

I truly believe that he does not have to be adopted with the buddy that he came to the shelter with, he was superb at being alone with just my boyfriend and me.

To help with his biography I came up with a few words:

Charger is the definition of a calm goofball, coming off a little reserved after a couple minutes he will open up to you and shower you with affection. He loves to play and gets along well with other dogs both big and small! He is very people and kid friendly so no worries there. Many other owners were impressed by how such a big dog could be so calm and collected! He varied from lapdog mode to active mode whenever you want him to! He knows basic commands like “sit, down, come, and paw”!! Responds to his name, and walks very well on a leash, doesn’t pull of tug hardly at all. Charger will do well in a home whether or not the owner has previous dogs. He is also very photogenic with those cute ears, and LOVES to chase squirrels!! :)
