Axel Rose was found as a stray and has a bad case of mange right now so he won't be ready for adoption until that clears up.
Foster Update 11/17: What a huge difference a few days in a home environment can make! When we took Axel Rose home last week she wouldn’t willingly get in the car and she cowered and had her tail tucked under. It was pitiful. Now, she still won’t get in the car willingly (maybe she had a bad experience in a car) but settles down happily once she’s in. She is a happy, playful dog but certainly not hyper. She bonds quickly and makes it clear she is around to protect you. Someone said she looked “grumpy” – that’s the Shar Pei in her but she is such a sweet natured dog. She’s been brilliant with my two dogs and play bows to engage them in play. She is well behaved with my cats. She’s carried off some shoes and clothing around the house. She doesn’t chew them but likes to carry them around! She hasn’t had any training but she’s a quick learner and eager to please.
Our pets love to sleep on Kuranda beds, but we do not have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed at discounted price, please click here.
