Sara is a great dog rescued from a kill shelter. A fenced in yard is a must for this girl as she loves to be outside to run around and chase squirrels and lizards. She is very strong on the leash and an anti-pull harness would be most helpful. She is learning not jump up so much but a training class would make Sara the perfect companion - and did you know training classes are a fabulous way to bond with your new dog!

Sara MUST have a large fenced in yard. The fence must be high enough that she cannot jump over it, or use a tree as a means to get over it.

She can easily jump 5 1/2 feet in the air, 6 with a running start. Can climb trees. (It is pretty funny)

Needs plenty of toys/bones to chew on to keep her busy.

Loves to chase squirrels...will do ANYTHING for a squirrel!

- Loving, Sweet, Playful, Aware, plays roughly

- Loves to be outside. If she is inside, loves to be looking out windows.

- Needs work on the leash. Has come a long way though...
